Department of Pharmacy at Kathmandu University was established in 1994 with a mission to cater and supply steady stream of highly competent pharmacy graduates required for the country and to contribute knowledge in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. Since then, it has grown to become one of the leading Pharmacy Departments in the Nepal. It started BPharm program in 1994, M.Pharm. program in 2000, Ph.D. in 2004 and Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate) in 2010, all for the first time in Nepal. Department is currently running MPharm in two specializations; Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care.
